Born and raised in CT, so I know pizza let me tell you. I will 100% recommend this family-owned pizza joint to anyone and everyone. Since I was little, I have been eating here, not just the pizzas but the grinders, pastas, and dinners there is not a single item on the list I would tell you not to try. Personally, this is a take-out spot only for me but dont let me make it sound like you can't sit and have a great meal. There is both seating with the typical ambiance of a traditional family heritage with a view of the Shetucket River just across the road. The parking however can be a little tricky but after that first order its always a breeze to pick up. Delivery is also available which is awesome considering I'm the next town over where many restaurants don't deliver to. The drivers are always fast and polite even on the nights where they are super slammed. I spent too many years delivering food on these long single lane roads, and I know how stressful it can be on a busy night. Overall, I'm not saying there better than anyone or worse because they have their own unique taste. Put it this way, they make it very hard to give my dog the crust on their pizzas. One last note is about the family that owns this pizza joint. They are incredible, caring, and amazing people as they know my parents personally. The restaurant has been passed down within the family, but you would never know because you get exactly what you expect, every time. Keep up the great work!

Best pizza in the area 10/10 recommend the service is great and the food is even better

The cheese pizza was hot and delicious. The price is right. The place is small. We also got buffalo wings that we're quite spicy and decent. The owner is not rude...he seems like a hard working decent guy...maybe a little shy. He's been running the place for more than 20 years....he has to be doing something right.

We were looking for a pizza joint on a Sunday since our go-to spot (Great Oak) is closed. Pizza Palace didn't disappoint! We ordered ham and Italian grinders as well as a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza sauce was robust, zesty and flavorful! We absolutely LOVED IT! The crust was perfectly crunchy and toppings were plentiful. My mom had mentioned that she liked the pizza better than Queen Pizza in Hartford- which is a HUGE compliment! I feel like the real stars of the shows were the grinders though. Not sure what kind of bread they used but it definitely tasted fresh. They didn't skimp on toppings, either. The only gripe I had was that the well-toasted bread was soggy. Yes- we asked for oil, however, the amount they put on their made everything a bit of a mess. But it wasn't even enough to take a star off for since the meal was overall satisfying. We've gone to Great Oak religiously for 20+ years. But since they aren't open Sundays- I'm happy we found a decent replacement! Exceeded my expectations and this will be our new spot during football season, for sure.

Always a pleasure to get take out from Norwich Pizza Palace! The pizza is hot, on time, and the perfect combination of melty cheese and crunchy crust. The toppings are well-portioned and always flavorful. I also had a chef salad and tossed salad, both of which were reasonably priced. The cheese on the chef salad was cut into pretty ribbons as well.

I have now tried several dishes here and have enjoyed all of them. The building is older and such, but well kept. It has so much character and charm.....and smells so good. I love eating here. And the owner and his workers have been so friendly and welcoming. The food is terrific. The lunches are so filling. I'm so tired of the generic chain restaurants....if we want these gems that make a city unique and warm and wonderful we all should seek them out. You can't go wrong here.....

My new favorite pizza place! Living on a ketogenic diet, I'm always looking for something good and low-carb to eat and found the best meatballs, sausage and now moussaka! They take good care of me here and I highly recommend trying it out if you haven't been here yet!

Simply the best pizza anywhere! However, the woman answering the phone, could use a little more phone manners & be less defensive. She tries to hang up before you are done ordering and does not receive feedback very well....Still, they make greaat pizza, IMO the best around here! NOTE: They do not accept credit cards, so come with cash.

I love the food here everything on the menu is great. I eat here frequently there prices are cheaper then any other pizza place. There buffalo wings are the best ever and you get 12 for $8.95.
